I've been a patient of a couple different home health care agencies in Bakersfield ca and have found the best nurse available i believe in Bakersfield. My home health care nurse is a young professional named Mace..He takes his job as my nurse very seriously and has my primary doctor accountable with his sincere concern and care for my rehabilitation..I am so pleased with his professionalism and dedication to his profession that I request him as my one and only nurse who I will see, besides my biweekly evaluations by Rachel who is also a good nurse..Solace is lucky to have a nurse like Mace working for them. I feel lucky to have been assigned to Mace, and will always request him as my nurse from now on, and you should to!!

The team was informative, compassionate, and consistently focused on comfort and dignity. They took the time to explain what was happening, what to expect, and ensured my grandfather’s end-of-life wishes were followed exactly as he wanted.

Special shout-outs to Joanna, April, and Paz who are absolute rockstars. Joanna and April provided exceptional nursing care with kindness and patience, and Paz, the nurse supervisor, went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. Their presence brought calm during an incredibly difficult time.

If you’re looking for compassionate, respectful, and truly human care for a loved one, I highly recommend Solace Hospice. They treated my grandfather and our family with dignity every step of the way.

My mother is in late stages of dementia, and we have received such incredible support from the team - and I do not use that word lightly.  The entire team has been compassionate, caring, professional...but each team member really makes an effort to really help guide us through best practices, planning, and the big and little things to navigate through this challenging time.

I do want to be clear - my father (primary caregiver) has a good quality of life.  My mother...she has a good quality of life as much as possible, and it is all due to the Solace team acting really as an extension of the family.  They have utterly exceeded our expectations when it comes to level of support, guidance, and human kindness.  I could go on and on about the patience, insight, and decency they bring to us everyday.

Note:  I'm aware this probably comes off like a paid advertisement - it is not.  This truly has been our family's experience with the Solace team.
